On Saturday October 15th, 2011, GMAC held it’s first Sports Aero competition, in which 7 GMAC members entered. The weather presented some challenges with moderate to strong winds which changed directions regularly.

The overall 1st place was taken by Tobi Azeez flying his 40-size Scanner with an OS .46 engine.

The Sportsman schedule was also flown by visiting competitor Ted Knowles.

Many thanks to visiting judges Fernando Monge (VPA President), David Gibbs and Dennis Travassaros, who commented that the overall standard of flying was extremely high.
