1st Templestowe Cub Scouts Visit
1st Templestowe Cub Scouts and GMAC members
On Wednesday, 17/11/10, the 1st Templestowe Cub Scouts visited GMAC. The evening began with flying demonstrations including foamy jets, Strykers, Bugs and 3D flying. There were approximately 16 cub scouts around 9 years old.
The troop was then split into groups with some flying trainers with the aid of club members, and some using flight simulators. The remainder of the group built chuck gliders with Brian Crowley and David Kerr.
Our thanks, once again, to all the GMAC members who assisted.
A great evening was had by the troop who thanked the club and helpers with a resounding cheer. Thank you to all club members who came along and helped.
